Inspiring ownership for future success
Glow Group recognizes the value in its workforce and aims to maintain a team that not only understands the organization now, but is also prepared for the future.
“For us, operational excellence doesn’t just mean that our plants are running efficiently and reliably; it also means that engineering, administration, commercial and financial processes are streamlined,” says Esa.
Rather than provide a training program that is theory based, Partisan fostered a flexible learning environment through instructional staging that eventually lead to self-directed learning.
Being the dynamic organization that it is, Glow Group had the tools to make this happen; Partisan organized those tools into an accessible program that encouraged the acceptance and willingness to use process documentation effectively.
“Now all department heads know the meaning of business process ownership and the concepts and responsibilities that relate to that as well,” said Eralp.
Glow Group is not only staffed by people who are readily involved in the documentation of business processes, but they have an enthusiasm to own that responsibility. Out of the documentation of current processes comes the ability to look forward and subsequently the motivation to design new processes without need for top-down drive.
